As we watch the Paris Olympics in full swing, it’s an exhilarating time for sports enthusiasts around the world. But amidst all the excitement, I can’t help but ask—where is padel?
Padel is one of the fastest-growing sports globally, with 50 new clubs being created weekly (PLAYTOMIC Global Padel Report 2024) and millions of players embracing the game. However, the @International Olympic Committee (IOC) has yet to recognize padel. I have high hopes that by the time the world gathers in Brisbane for the 2032 Games, padel will have its rightful place in the Olympic program.
