The padel skill level scale, created by the French Padel Shop in collaboration with Stephane Pesso of Padel Magazine, has become a world-renowned reference. It is used by many padel clubs, tournaments and skill level assessment organizations.
1.0 Beginner Main improvement: Learn the basics of padel tennis.
2.0 Progressor Main improvement: Play short rallies and complete first volleys.
3.0 Basic Main improvement: Play first games and get used to rebounds.
4.0 Intermediate Main improvement: Play long rallies and go to the net. Description: “I play long rallies, switching between defensive and offensive positions at the net”
5.0 Confirmer Main improvement: Master lobs, volleys and drop shots.
6.0 Advanced Main improvement: Intensity of play, court variations and defending against double glass rebounds.
7.0 Expert Level Major Improvement: Excellent tactical mastery and defense.
8.0 Elite Level Major Improvement: Match Major Player. Match Standard: Participate in P1000, P1500 and P2000 competitions.
