1.Environment
Pickleball is played on a badminton court with a lower net, whereas the padel court is totally different. Padel is closely related to squash. It has an enclosed court surrounded on four sides by a ‘superstructure’. This is made up of 10m high glass panels along the back walls, which continue around the service corners.
2.One of the Rules
Each of these games has its own unique set of rules, ways of playing and scoring. The key difference between the two: In a game of pickleball, you will have no-go areas on the court. There are some areas on the side of the court where stepping is not allowed, except for some exceptions to the rules. If you don’t know the rule it could cause you to lose points.
3.Rackets:
Padel rackets have a thicker and perforated face whereas pickleball rackets have a solid face.
4.Balls:
The ball used in padel is very similar to tennis, except that it has less pressure and therefore a lower bounce.
While in the Pickleball, you use a perforated plastic ball that moves a lot slower through the air.
